IntelliMat: The Power of Digital Signage to the Floor
With all the clutter that consumers have to deal with in typical retail settings, it is hard to find a place where a message will attract anyone's attention. The floor offers one of the last areas that isn't crammed full of distractions and confusing information. Now you can utilize that space for digital signage!

What IS the IntelliMat?
It’s less than an inch thick, lies on the floor and it stops people in their tracks. IntelliMat is a revolutionary marketing tool that reaches customers at the point of purchase in a fresh and exciting way. Four,15-inch LCD screens create a large 30-inch diagonal display. It plays multimedia content, video, Flash, MPEG 2, 4 and anything else a PC can load and play. With its own IP address, IntelliMats are networkable. You can deliver content to a specific mat from one central location. Pre-existing or custom content can be conveniently downloaded from a local server, PDA or thumb drive and changed on the fly. With Intellimat’s proven ability to increase sales and a rapid ROI, you could easily call it a welcome mat.

Learn more about it here or call us and see how it can make your floors work for you.

Project Profile

Stone Mountain - 2006 Digi Awards Creativity Winner

Stone MountainStone Mountain Productions was asked to design and build a unique advertising, promotion and entertainment attraction for Enoshima Spa and Resort in Japan.  The result is the “Dragon Tower” – a very unique LED sculpture that features two LED “bands” and wrap around a tower topped by fire breathing dragons.  It won Stone Mountain a Digi Award for Creativity.

The Dragon Tower concept began when the Enoshimo Spa and Resort owners wanted to create a sculpture attraction for the quayside area of the resort (a seaside courtyard area where visitors stroll). The spa owners sought to create a multimedia sculpture so visually compelling that it would draw in tourists and provide a platform for additional advertising. Tying in cultural symbolism with a modern twist, the original concept was a four-headed dragon representing the four dragon traits of Oriental mythology: wisdom, strength, goodness, and the element water.

Stone Mountain had to figure out how to wrap an LED video screen 720 degrees around a cylindrical tower, which had never been done before in an outside display. Also they had to develop the support and housing structure for the video cabinets as they curved upwards around the tower structure. They designed them so that they would taper down in size at the top to give the appearance of added height. They also had to solve how the LED video modules would physically line up in a proper x, y coordinate despite the ascending spiral and tapered path they formed as they encircled the tower.
